ABOUT ME
I am a Senior Structural Steel Draughtsman & Project Manager with more than 40 year's experience, including drawing office management and using a number of CAD tools for producing 3D models, 2D general arrangements, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, BOMs, CNC data & profile drawings.
My CAD experience includes Autodesk Inventor, Tekla, StruCad, AutoCAD & Microstation.
My first 25 years as a Detailer was spent using a drawing board, pencils & all the standard draughting tools available during those years.
I've worked on a wide variety of projects for the UK, USA, Singapore, South Africa, Hong Kong, Ukraine, Norway & Ireland.
The types of projects I've worked on include high-rise commercial & residential buildings, portal-framed industrial & agricultural buildings, sports stadia, curved & complex structures, bridges & motorway gantries, offshore platforms, FPSOs, FSOs, offshore mooring systems, pontoons & jackets.
