Ken started work for LMC in February 2013 as Lead Draughtsman, and he was brought in to the team specifically to instigate and oversee the company’s transition from a 2D to 3D CAD system. During his time at LMC he completed this task superbly. In doing so, he also established very good relationships with his colleagues, and was able to draw upon his strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to build an excellent team of twelve CAD draughtsmen.
Ken’s background in workshop practices ensures he can take the initiative to identify problems and devise solutions quickly and effectively, and this is backed up by a keen eye for detail. His role at LMC required him to have strong communication, man-management and time management skills, all of which allowed him to manage the CAD Team extremely effectively.
Ken was an excellent team player and team builder, both of which are key attributes in a small company like LMC. His determination and dedication to his work ensures he gets the job done as efficiently as possible and within deadlines.

Ken is an excellent structural steelwork detailer. His understanding of the StruCAD 3D detailing package along with his years of experience in detailing steelwork ensured he was the first port of call for any complex structural detailing projects in the company. His dedicated work ethic always ensured that he would meet the many tight deadlines for projects. Ken's self-starter attitude and excellent time management ensured any project he worked on was delivered on time.
